MUNNIK BOTHA

I started pigeon racing in 1985 with my older brother on our farm, Uitkyk,
in the Northern Cape province.

BRPF champ Prof. Appel Brussouw’s pigeons were the core of our loft. In
2000 we entered the National Race from Okahandja +/- 1230km.
SA was divided into 4 sections North, East, West and South. We won the
West section with a hen 3391 CH 99 H and 3365 CH w/f 99 C took the
second position. These pigeons became our foundation pair (The
Okahandja pigeons)

In 2004 I started racing on my own. Over the years my pigeons delivered
various federation winners. (up to 9 winners in one season)
I am part of Hopetown Pigeon Club which is part of the NKPF (Kimberly
area). Over the years I have entered a few of my pigeons (+/-25) at One
Lofts.
