BADENHORST LOFTS

Due to work and family commitments we have decided to sell all our birds and change over to One Loft racing from 2024. Only a hand full of 2024 bred birds will be kept for our stock loft in order to breed one loft racers. All stock birds and best racers will be sold. The rest that are too old to sell will be put in a retirement loft.

Over the past years we have been very fortunate to own some super breeding pigeons. Badenhorst Lofts have been fortunate to win club championships, Zululand Combine champs, KZN all bird averages champions, north route champs and best birds club, Zululand and KZN combines. Our birds have all performed exceptional at one loft levels for the limited amount of races we have entered. Dinokeng – Barzalona race our birds flew 4^th, 2^nd and 4^th in three consecutive years, Carnival was our new loft for the last two years and have had great success, winning hot spots and performing well in all races.

652 and 06980 are the backbone of our loft. They have produced some exceptional breeders and racers – they are true champion breeders to this date producing great racers with one of their children winning 8^th on Monday’s race at Carnival. They are parents to “SONIC 2nd place Dinokeng Barzalona race 2020” “ROYAL STAR 4th place Dinokeng, Barzalona race 2019” and to SANPO GOLD MEDAL LONG DISTANCE 2018 – Monique ZA10830/16. This is a short list of their breeding accomplishments. 652 and 06980 have produced some prolific breeders, but they also breed exceptional stock when mated to their children or half-brother’s and sisters. I believe all these birds will be an asset to any loft.
