Again, a first where two SANPO Gold Medal long-distance winners were bred together. The male has bred several winners with my own old Desmet line. Last year I bought them at the late Nico Dreyer auction with the sole purpose of pairing her with “King of the Sky” – I only bred six in 2018 and again two in 2019, two went to a top known pigeon racer who I do not want to mention his name without his permission. One young male is also on your auction ZA18 Moun 680 beautiful quality – the other we will use for our own breeding program to replace the originals.
Both in their own right top performers – “King of the Sky” comes from one of the country’s best performing families, while the Twilight’s of Bob Bouwer need no introduction because they have been performing in various lofts across the country for years.
What makes the hen remarkable is that she could do it as a year old to win the prestigious SANPO Gold Medal on the Long Distance. She has also bred winners for the late Nico Dreyer but I couldn’t find much more information, she is a beautiful typical Janssen
Since the male is 8 years old, he is still 100% fertile, and the same for the hen she still has a lot of breeding years over.
