pigeons in one of the world’s premier One Loft Races is a highlight that we will never forget.
It often happens that an “outsider” wins a major OLR Final – we all know that in many cases, the winner is a
pigeon that did not perform at the top in the run-up to the final race. This was not the case with the victory of
“MICHELANGELO’S PURPOSE”. He was one of only a few pigeons that were ranked in the Top 100 on no less
than 5 out of the 10 Afrikapro Series races. In fact, he was in the first drop on Races 2 and 4 and therefore was
equal 1st in two races and then won 1st in the Final.

of racing and winning at Afrikapro.
His father, “DUAL PURPOSE” is a legendary racing and breeding superstar at the lofts in Krugersdorp South
Africa.

The combination of the bloodlines in the parents of the Afrikapro Final Race winner has proven the perfect
recipe for producing hundreds of champion racers in South Africa. This unique bloodline was built up out of 4
base pigeons i.e. “BLUE WHIP”, “THE 17 X WINNER”, “KONING KAAS” and “THE FAMOUS SK HEN”.
Die Painters have dominated the South African National Pigeon Organisation (SANPO) National Ace Pigeon
Awards with this bloodline and they have won 22 National Ace Pigeon Awards since 2019 – this includes 11 X
1st National Ace Pigeons!
