OROFINO DESCRIPTION:
One of the first children ever bred from Orofino was ZA FB 14 61127, bred by Soetdoring Lofts/Gaddin Stander who originally bought/owned Orofino at SAMDPR. 155th Final.
61127 was sent to me in CPT to race in our R1000 Ring Race 2015.
As a YL he didn’t race much due to flight problems, and only raced a couple of races at the end of the season.
In the one race he managed a 4th place, and was kept over as a 2jr old.
As a 2jr old this cock flew like a champion: 3 wins and 5 other scores, 8 in total, making him the Best Old Bird, and 2nd Overall Best Bird in our organization.
Truly one of the best Cock birds I have ever raced.
2 different babies bred off him in the race loft in 2017 and 2018 raced very well for Riaan Louw/Anton Botha both seasons. Top fed scores.
Another daughter 04387 also raced very well for me 2018/2019. 3rd BB Fed 2019

They kept producing generation after generation.
Orofino is a once in a lifetime pigeon and cannot be reproduced again. Siblings of Hatatitla is nearly impossible to find and obtain now.
Hatatitla was a super racer MDPR HS and Grand Ave and comes off a click pair, bought for a lot of money by Gaddin.
Only 4 babies were ever bred off her before she died. One was a Carnival Summer OLR winner.
Orofino is a magnificent strong pigeon in the hand also, as is his son 61127.
Golden Thread bought Orofino on the Soetdoring dispersal sale, and did not bred from, and was sold shortly after again to Gys Louw when Golden Thread Stud packed up.
In his first season there he bred a top racer in the race loft and at Dinokeng, and now at SAMDPR 2020 for Gys.
