PERFORMANCE AUCTION OVERVIEW
On 22 to 26 January 2025, Toppigeon will be selling the following hand-picked genetics out of our
loft that produced such spectacular results during 2024 (see performance info docs):
1. LOT 1 – is a baby cock directly out of MIRACLE BREEDER “BLUE WHIP” – best breeding male in
SA (father to TWO INDIVIDUAL 1ST NATIONAL ACE PIGEONS and grandfather to AFRIKAPRO
GREEN JACKET WINNER) when mated to “TATJANA” the BEST OVERALL PIGEON in South Africa
2024. “BLUE WHIP” is the uncle of “TATJANA” so the baby on auction is also linebred to our
foundation cock “BLUE MAESTRO”
2. LOT 2 – is a full-sister of our AFRIKAPRO GREEN JACKET WINNER 2024 bought by Tom van
Gaver (Belgium) for R180000 on the live auction after the Afrikapro Final. This hen is out of
“BAKBEEN”, top breeding son of “BLUE WHIP”. “BAKBEEN” is also 1st ACE SPRINT SERIES
WRRPA UNION and have quickly become a mega-producer. Mother is a direct Arie Dijkstra.
3. LOT 3 – is a baby hen out of one of the pillars of our success over the last 5 years. “RING FACIE”
is the only hen in SA to have produced 2 X 1st NATIONAL ACE PIGEONS. She is also the
grandmother to the AFRIKAPRO GREEN JACKET WINNER and beyond this, have produced
Union and Combine Winners with 3 different cocks. The father to this baby is “PIED PAPA” who
is out of the same mother as “BLUE WHIP”. “PIED PAPA” is also a great producer and father to
the 3 X Winner 711/21 owned and raced by Lewellyn Sharp in Port Elizabeth.
4. LOT 4 – the flagship lot! We have decided to sell our SUPERSTAR “BLOEM QUEEN” while she is
still in her prime. She is regarded by many as the best child out of MIRACLE BREEDER “BLUE
WHIP”. “BLOEM QUEEN” is 1st OVERALL ACE PIGEON and 1ST YB ACE PIGEON in the WRRPA
UNION in 2019. She is in the SUPERBREEDER category and has bred Combine and Union
winners. 4 of her children are already breeding winners for us.
5. LOT 5 – is a young hen with all the attributes that we look for in our stock pigeons. Silky soft
feathers, super build and a great throat but more importantly, is the performance in her
pedigree. Bred out of two Combine Winners, she is also full sister to two winners during 2024.
Her mother is “LAST DIAMOND” a direct daughter of the “DIAMOND PAIR. This pair has bred
some of our greatest pigeons ever and their progeny is found in most of our best performers.
6. LOT 6 – is a baby hen bred out of “GOLD MEDAL LASS” our 2024 1st NATIONAL ACE SHORT
DISTANCE. She is a daughter of our top breeder “SKAAM COCK” and is the second National Ace
Pigeon out of him. He is also the father to “DUAL PURPOSE” our 2019 2nd NATIONAL ACE
SHORT DISTANCE. Father to the baby on offer is a superb Kittel cock from Bennie Smit. This
cock’s full-sister is the mother of his 2 X FED Winner, 3 X Club winner “MIRAKEL”.
7. LOT 7 – is a full brother of two individual 1st NATIONAL ACE PIGEONS!! “MEDAL MISS” – 1ST
OVERALL NATIONAL ACE MIDDLE DISTANCE 2019 and “GOLDEN WHIP” – 1st NATIONAL ACE
LONG DISTANCE 2024. Their other brother is “BAKBEEN” – father of the 2024 AFRIKAPRO
GREEN JACKET WINNER. All these are direct children of our “PLATINUM PAIR” which is the
dream mating of “BLUE WHIP” X “RING FACIE”
8. LOT 8 – is a beautiful hen out of arguably one of our best pairs ever! This is of course the top
breeding “SKAAM COCK” when mated to the best bird we have ever owned i.e. “THE 17 X
WINNER”. This mating has bred some of our most successful racers including “PRIME LASS” –
1st AFRIKAPRO BLUE JACKET, “SHY LASS” – 1st KNOCKOUT WINNER Dinokeng OLR as well as
“SUPREME LASS” our 4 Winner & 7 X equal Winner, Combine and Union Winner and 10 X TOP
10 Union performer. Their son “HOMLASS” is father to 477/23 who is the best racer for
Painters Rietbok in 2024 and ended 5th OVERALL ACE in the Gauteng West Combine.
9. LOT 9 – is a baby cock bred out of “GOLDEN WHIP” our 2024 1st NATIONAL ACE LONG
DISTANCE when mated to the mother of the 4th NATIONAL ACE LONG DISTANCE. This is a
sensational baby and is sure to be a SUPER! The mother to this baby is out of “SPRINGBOK”
and has bred winners with 3 different cocks already. The young hen who was 4th National Ace
Long Distance, flew in the Top 10 in the Union for 7 consecutive weeks!! This is mind-blowing if
you take into account that these were all long distance races!
10. LOT 10 – is a breathtakingly beautiful Indigo Bar cock out of our well-known “MOLTENO HEN”
who is the mother to “LONGOLD”, our 1st OVERALL NATIONAL ACE PIGEON LONG DISTANCE
2022. The father is from Cape Town-based champion fancier out of his very best. Our
incredible Indigos have bred winners in several lofts across SA over the last few years including
UNION ACE PIGEONS!
11. LOT 11 – Is a “perfect-in-every-way” hen bred out of “SKAAM COCK” and a super-bred
Carelsen hen. “SKAAM COCK” is also one of a handful of pigeons that has bred two individual
National Ace Winners. His son “DUAL PURPOSE” was 2nd OVERALL NATIONAL ACE PIGEON
SHORT DIATNCE in 2019 and his daughter “GOLD MEDAL LASS” is 1st NATIONAL ACE PIGEON
SHORT DISTANCE (500-2000p) in 2024.
12. LOT 12 – is out of a proven pair who produced one of our star racers of 2024. The sister to this
lovely hen is 1898/23 – she is a Combine Winner. She is bred from star-breeder “MOLTENO
HEN”, who is the mother to “LONGOLD”, our 1st OVERALL NATIONAL ACE PIGEON LONG
DISTANCE 2022. The father is the great ‘GAUTENG COMBINE WINNER” of Pigeoneers who won
the Gauteng Provincial Combine and has gone on to breed champion after champion. His one
daughter is the mother to the 1st & 3rd Truck Winner of Team Vision in Paarl.
13. LOT 13 – maybe the best for last? This is one of the highlights of the auction. This is a young
hen out of our most sensational mating of 2024. She is directly out of “DUAL PURPOSE” our
2nd OVERALL NATIONAL ACE SHORT DISTANCE 2019 when mated to his illustrious
grandmother, the one and only “THE FAMOUS SK HEN”. This young hen has the same father as
“MORPHO”, sire to 1st YB ACE TRPF for Bennie Smit. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to
obtain a linebred super out of our 12-year old foundation hen!
