Neels Hattingh introduction:

 

Neels Hattingh lives in the Eastern Cape and is a farmer by occupation.  He had a set back in his health hence the reason for selling all his birds. He flew under the partnership Hattingh and Wilmot and 2017 was their best season in the strong EPPU.  Neels loved the breeding part of the birds the most and he is one of a few people in the Eastern Cape that spent a lot of money on auctions, always trying to buy the very best. He loved the breeding part the most and his main focus was always trying to buy the best performance birds or the best bloodlines.  On this auction you will find a lot of the older bloodlines ie. Tom Lock, Monty vd Burg, Janssens, Andre x Cher Ami father x gold medal winner daughter, Andre Carelsen all via Jason Ross etc.

Good morning guys. Just a few facts on BB hen 11793-09 which I bred. Known to me as the Jamestown hen as she was mistakenly put on a Jamestown toss as a very young baby and returned back home 8days later. Her first baby was BWF hen 10996-11which flew 2nd club 8th union Butterworth at velocity 966.312 2044pigeons. Two weeks later 1st club 1st union Umtata at velocity 1136.2987 against 1933 pigeons. 11793 is bred out of the great cock 23597-05 direct son of the R80k pair. Absolute Champion cock sire of numerous exceptional pigeons for myself Tom Chalmers and Shane Gerber. 11793 dam is a daughter of the Barring Cock when paired 3747 a double winner and a full sister of Mr Ugly which i got as a gift from Leon Wolmarans from Boksburg. A few years ago I gave a half sister of 11793 to Marc Killian. She is out of 23597 x daughter of Zander x Azurit. She has produced 22 winners which have all won in the top 4 of the union. 11793 produced very well with 3146-08. 3146 is bred out of 55372-06 which is a direct son of Andre x CherAmi when paired to the daughter of R80k cock and his cousin 24836-03 known as the Bethlehem menace and was Bethlehem union winner for me. Five of 3146 brothers and sisters flew in the top 7 of the union for me in 2009. One being the best bird in the fed and Kokstad Union and another winning Standerton fed with her cousin when very few birds where home on the day. I can assure that anything out of 11793 - 3146 - 28901 - 5919 will be an asset to any loft.

 

I have no part in the organizing of the present auction on Top Pigeons and nothing to gain but want to make sure the pigeons get there recognition which they have earned.
